If these are “emerging Christians”, I’m runnin’ for the hills!

Brother, this is probably just my thought since things like this are very attractive to the world, but if I weren’t a Christian and saw this, I’d be like, “I don’t want to be like that…it is [or 'was', of course] too much like me now”. And as a lost person, I did have some sense that Christians were SUPPOSED TO BE different than everyone I knew…

Different…but not like these “brethren”…wow.

We spending eternity with them? I’m thankful we’re all gettin’ a glorified body!

My comments may sound elitist and rude, but I’m really not trying to be. Christianity is not elitist, it is exclusive. And what I mean by that is Christianity must be had God’s way and lived God’s way. I love these people in this picture…but is this what God wants and is this God’s way?

I can hear the critics now: “That’s how THEY express their Christianity”, and “How can you judge”…we can talk about it, but again, sufficed to say, Christianity is exlusive – you must come God’s way and you must live the way God wants us to…I can’t “express” “MY” Christianity the way “I” want to…only in the way God wants me to.

We are to be an holy people. How can mixing with this pagan festival be justified by any Christian? How easily is holiness compromised for friendship with the world. Emnity with God prevails… Thanks for this refreshing article. My prayer is that the Holy Spirit of God burdens the hearts of the pastors here in Canada to preach the TRUTH with firmness and boldness, aiming to glorify God alone.

May God have mercy on Canada [and on the U.S. and all nations that forget God], and I pray you keep on being what God has made you where He’s placed you: salt & light.

And how do we know that we’re surrendered to the Holy Spirit? We can tell by the way the affairs of our life are handled. For example: Are those affairs handled in a Scriptural manner? Do we put God first in the decision-making process? Are we concerned if what we will do will please a Holy and Righteous God?

Those are just some ways…but like I said…you’re right. We’ve got to stop driving our “spiritual car” [as you've put it] because we don’t know where we’re going!!! We must look to God for ALL our direction.
